Advice Needed - Should I be expecting more from my system?

In settings, monitoring in afterburner, theres a list of options to tick to enable fps display etc. Fps etc will then be displayed in the top left corner of your screen.

Alternatively, you could use FRAPS.

Msi afterburner.

I did say this in post #23 (sighs)

The only issue I had was when using the FXAA injector for Skyrim it killed the OSD for Afterburner. It's nice to see the temps and load on the GPU as well as FPS. Setting a custom fan speed profile isn't a bad idea either

Iirc it killed osd for me as well when i used the injector for bf3. But it still displayed fine in my g15 keyboard lcd display, that meant though i had to disable coretemp on it.

Well, I must be thick or something, because I can`t get anything to display let alone fps whilst gaming, in either fullscreen or window mode.
Any chance of a screen shot of the right settings, to see where I`m going wrong.

You can select a myriad of options to display, very handy with multiple gpu's.

And a pic of it in use.

You can also set it so that the on screen info can be left out/in on screenshots, do this by clicking on the on screen menu next to monitoring tab, option is in there.

honosuseri, how do you go about changing the osd colour. Sometimes i find the default colour to be a bit blurry.

It's not in Afterburner itself. Bring up your hidden icons in the bottom right of the taskbar whilst Afterburner is running. Click the MSI OSD server, you will see OSD colour palette near the bottom of the window. First orb I have as red second is black

Cheers guys sorted. Only problem, screws up the graphics in game, means I have to lower some settings, so seems a bit pointless.

Would you happen to be playing MoH Bugfighter? I didn't notice any issues in BF3 or Skyrim etc etc

Just tried it out in BF3, then noticed when I went through the door into the garage(first mission as Blackburn) the cars looked like photo negatives and everything seemed a little darker. Normally all settings are Ultra, 16x af, HBAO on x4 msaa, blur and vsync enabled. Runs nice and smooth.
The only things I selected were fps, Gpu 1&2 usage and temps.

Very strange I've never come across that.

I'm even on the new beta drivers too and if anything my old trusty Evga 460 is even better for it. I'm sure you can see it's a handy display to have when testing your GPU overclocks, not sure what to suggest to fix your issue though :(

I`ll have another go later, after the football. Try it on a few different games.
