Advice Needed

Just a quick question.

Is it best to install Windows Vista on the same hard drive you will put all you other software, games etc on?

Or is it best to separate the two?

I don't use Vista but on XP I find it's easier to install the OS on a separate hdd. You get a slight speed boost as the programs/OS are being loaded from separate hdd's. Another plus point is that if the OS decides to screw up you can easily recover your data from the storage hdd.

I have my OS on my small raptor hdd and then programs on another and then docs on another. I like to keep things tidy
