Advice needed!

Well personally I do like the U2410's extra responsiveness and the broad colour gamut. I would pay the extra myself, but if it's worth it for you depends on your perspective. If you're really happy with the U2311 (no shame in that - fantastic monitor and much better than average) then I'd get another one and save the extra pennies for when OLEDs come out.

U2410 - £460
U2311 - £260

I dont know if the £200 extra is worth it for the extra pixels, wide gamut and connectivity....

but I did have my heart set on it.

I think i'll save up for a couple of months and decide then.

Okay I just put a black screen on to look for defective pixels and I found a red area that looks a bit like a rash, its about the size of the nail on my little finger? Its in the top centre of the screen. Anything below mid grey and its noticeable. Should I send it back to Dell because that is obviously not meant to be there! But then i'm gonna get some kind of refurb arnt I. :(

Do I have to pay for delivery or anything like that?

Thanks for helping me once again.

EDIT: Looked on the monitor and it says Rev 01, I thought the CD would have the same Rev number. And it was manufactured in August.

EDIT 2: Just checked today and it seems the red rash is fading, you can hardly see it, even close up.... and I am 100% happy with this monitor :D

Thank you PCM2!
