advice needed

hi ive been out of the pc game for some time so needing alittle advice on what would be a good graphics card upgrade my budget is £200 i know thats not much but im on a slim budget.
my specs are
-AMD FX(tm)-4130 quad core processor 3.8 GHZ
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650Ti BOOST
- GIGABYTE 78LMT-USB3
- 8 gig of ram
sorry ive forgot how to get the info list up as ive not been on me pc for about 4 years

Hi, welcome to the forum.

£200 is a fine budget for a 1080p gaming GPU these days. RX 580 or the faster GTX 1660.

Thing is the processor is really going to struggle. Unless you play really old games. And there's nothing worthwhile upgrading to on that platform.

Motherboard might need a BIOS update for new GPU.

Also check PCIe power connectors from your PSU. Most of the 580s will require either an 8-pin (or 6+2-pin) or an 8-pin + 6-pin. And 1660s will require an 8-pin (or 6+2).

These days Ryzen 2600/2600X on the AMD side (paired with a B450 motherboard and DDR4 memory), or i9-9400F on Intel side (paired with B360/B365 motherboard and DDR4 memory) are very decent for the money.

You can try with just new GPU first, see how you get on.
