advice on a cpu cooler

I have never installed anything other than a stock cpu heatsink. Having installed a new GPU I have noticed my 965 AMD Phenom fan is bloody noisy. Can you recommend a decent cooler for me please?

What budget do you have sir,

You can get CPU cooler for anywhere from £10-£100+..

£30-£60 would get you a good/great cooler though..

What Cap do you have in mind?

Are you overclocking or is it just for noise reasons?

Thanks for your reply. No overclocking, its just for noise and a cooler CPU. I have around £40. I have a Fractal Design R4 case and an Asus M4A78T-E motherboard running a Phenom 2 965 x4.
