Hi Guys,

I currently have 2 MSI R9 270X Gaming's running in X-Fire, however they seem to generate quite a bit of heat and are quite noisy. I'm thinking about selling them and moving to one of the newer Nvidia cards.

What would be best?

I was thinking maybe 2 GTX960's, I only game at 1080p so aslong as I can get decent frame rates with fairly low power use and heat/noise output I don't mind not having the best of the best.

Or would I be better saving up a bit and getting perhaps a single 970 or 980? Or just getting a better Radeon with a better cooler?

Thanks in advance guys

You'll probably find that 1 970 would meet your needs quite nicely and works out cheaper than 2 960s, giving you the option to upgrade to SLI in the future when games become too much for the one card.

You'll be able to happily game at 1080p at max for the current crop of games (Witcher 3 might be an exception there...)
