advice on HD cache size. Confused!

Just wondering what disadvantages a 500 gb HD with a 8mb cache will give as opposed to a 16mb or 32 mb cache. I assume an 8mb will be slower? No?
Bit worried as the HD in my new to arrice PC is going to be 8mb and dont want it to be the crutch in my system. pls advise. Thanks in advance

Amongst the drives tested are two WD harddisks, the Caviar SE and the Cavier SE16, the only difference of which is the cache size. The former has 8Mb while the latter has 16Mb.
It answers your question, but in brief it's not a big difference in day to day use.
