Finished building PC based on
AMD R9 7900
GPU Gigabyte Radeon RX 7800 XT GAMING OC 16GB

Now looking for suitable monitor
Need a 4K monitor
100Hz or better
27” … or up to 32” but no bigger

I don’t do any gaming, this is for video editing (DaVinci) and image processing (Lightroom)

Don’t want to spend silly money, so looking for recommendations of models or manufacturers. Previously been Dell Alienware or HP

Sounds like colour accuracy is important for your work. But would be good to hear a budget. A decent 4k IPS monitor can be had around £400-600, though if you go closer to £1000, then OLEDs are also available. IPS options include things like the LG GR93U or Gigabyte M32U. However, OLEDs might not be the right fit if the given type of work requires extended time on the same UI on-screen, due to risk of burn-in.

Good looking monitor and 4K 165Hz with 0.03 refresh, and 1.5m:1 contrast ratio is a very nice specification .... but £850 seems too high ....No real budget. but was assuming £400 - £500 as this seems to be the good quality 'mid point' ... above the £150 screens.
Maybe something will turn up in Jan.

Sorry, I am curious. Why do you need 100Hz for video editing?

If that's the budget, I'd recommend this LG for 27".

If you wanted 32" it costs a bit more.

You can get cheaper 32" from Gigabyte or MSI. Or if you want high contrast ratio from a 32" curved VA panel, there's this Gigabyte one under £500.
