Advice On Selling & Replacing

After some consideration (and my wife suggesting I need to clear my credit card right down), I've determined I'm not getting anywhere near my money's worth out of my HD650's, Modi 2 Uber and Magni 2. So I'm thinking of selling them and buying a pair of cheap headphones instead.

So first question, would £350 collected sound about right for the HD650's and the Schiit gear?

Second part, I really don't get too much time at all to listen to music, play games or watch media on my PC. Maybe ... 3 hours a week total where I might use my headphones. So I'm going to sell the kit mentioned above and get some headphones which are decent enough but not expensive and will work off onboard sound, or at least a cheap soundcard.

So second question, any recommended cheap headphones that will work okay from my onboard sound? The system board is an MSI Z77A-G45 Gaming board, with SoundBlaster Cinema and I believe it has a Realtek chipset. I've previously had Samson SR850's and they sounded decent for the price, is there anything better around the same price? Any other suggestions?

You could have a look at the Takstar Hi2050...think there are around ~£50.

The body is pretty much the same the Beyerdynamic DT880. Some go as far as calling them Chinese knock-offs of the Beyers, but the build quality and metal construct is amazing and not what you'd expect of a sub £50 headphone. The sound also suppose to be quite decent as well.

The forum has a members market for price checking and buying and selling. Not sure it's allowed at all outside of that section.

Not advertising it as such, although I can see it coming across like that. Just after advice about whether the price seems fair as well as advice on replacing the kit. I don't have enough posts to get into the MM so wasn't aware that there's a section for price checking. I can take down that part of my post if needed though.

Yea not saying u were advertising just making you aware of the section and possible issues a mod may have. Maybe check the rules and see if it mentions anything.

Wouldn't mind your set up mate. Not in the position to spend more money on headphones though. The wife would go mental.
