Advice on SSD

I've just ordered a 64 GB G.Skill for my OS [XPPro] and apps, and am curious about a few points.

1...I've seen a few references to disabling the pagefile, no doubt to reduce writes to the SSD.
Is this on the assumption that you have sufficient RAM not to need the pagefile.
Is it reasonable to put the pagefile on a HDD in case it is needed ?.
At the moment I'm running a pagefile on a second HDD but no pagefile on the C Drive

2...I've got a copy of Diskeeper 2009 with Hyperfast although a search of this Forum doesn't bring up much in the way of references to it.
Has anyone experience of using it with an SSD ?.
I know there is a 'wiper' programme for the G.Skill, which is one reason why I bought it, but Hyperfast sounds promising - if it works.

3...I'll be using Acronis True Image to copy/clone my existing C Drive to the SSD and am curious whether this will have any negative impact on the SSD in terms of what I believe is termed 'aligning'.
I've read up on the subject but have no idea what alignment I will end up with or how significant it really is.
I appreciate the merits of a clean install but having saved many images during and after installing XPpro, I can go back to an early image and hopefully avoid some of the rubbish and potential problems which will have subsequently accumulated.

4...Finally any thoughts on which free AntiVirus programmes work well but with modest writing to the SSD during a scan.
I've monitored AntiVir with Procmon and, presumably like most other such programmes, it writes pretty much non stop to the OS Drive.
I obviously don't want to compromise the quality of the Anti Virus programme.

1. Yes, yes
2. Nope, never heard of it
3. Never thought about it, I just know Vista/7 aligns correctly on install.. I myself would do a clean install to SSD, install my shizzle on it, then image it for the next time
4. Not sure, I just use Kaspersky.. you might find something in here

Good luck

1) Idon't see a problem with putting the page file on a secondary hdd for ram overflow purposes

2)I believe you will still have to use the wiper progam pereodically as all hyperfast appears to be is a specialized defrag and altered write algorithm to delay slowdown, it does not appear to be able to clear written to pages, logical as trim is not standardized yet, I may be wrong however, I just had a quick readup on hypervisor

don't know about 3 or 4
