advice on this monitor plz

afternoon!

im putting together i system at the end of the week which i have a thread about. but im wanting to get a new screen aswell. i have been looking at

but not heard of the make befor. are they good and does anyone have this screen. also could any 1 point me to reviews as i couldnt find any.

or can anyone recomend another screen? is led all that good?

Iiyama are a pretty well known monitor make, nothing to worry about from them.

May I ask what you will be mainly using the PC before? With that, i'd be happy to recommend you a monitor.

In that case I would suggest going for this monitor.

However, depending on how much photoshop you do - an IPS panel monitor like this would be very nice (here is a review).

Your spec looks very nice, the only thing I would consider changing is the RAM to this and possibly the motherboard to this MSI (with the 20% cashback offer).

the first monitor looks good but is it really 3d? the ram look godd aswell, although i rather like asus for the mobo

Nope - standard 2D (60Hz), just like the iiyama in the OP.

The bit in the blurb that mentions "3D" just refers to modern games ie Mario 64 (3D game) vs Super Mario Bros. (2D game), not stereoscopic 3D.
