How come this board say: Increase CPU speed up to 4.GHz! Sound like only up to 4Ghz ? Confused

Yeah you can increase the speed to 4GHz by literally pressing the O.C genie button which does it automactically.

You can get it higher than 4GHz by overclocking it manually obviously.

Its just if you wanna get a real quick OC! And the best bit is, it really does work!

Is there plenty of stock or if this was ordered now then the CPU and cooler Sunday would the orders be combined and shipped together?

Cheeky question: This reads like a redemtion deal (send the reciept to manufactuer to get check back) if thats the case is it still open to OCuk NOVATRISE code also ?

Cheers

Intel Core i5-2500K £184.99 (still in my basket from the other day when they were on sale for a few hours). The price might drop a bit when they're officially launched and other retailers have them in stock though.

Have MSi motherboards improved over the years ? I tried one with an Athlon 64 many years ago but ended up returning it because it was just not stable at all. I've steared clear ever since.

Hi Guys,

As the official launch is Monday I am still waiting on the marketing department to upload the landing page for full details. Basically you can claim your 20% VAT back from MSI UK.

Buy a P67A-GD65 before the end of next weekend, fill in the form that we will have available for download and return that along with a copy of your invoice to us.

I'm sure that Nathan will tell you that as far as build quality is concerned MSI P67 boards are the best around now, not to mention that Military Class II components are well ahead of what MSI competitors currrently offer :D

the original military class introduced the market to Icy Chokes which are now standard on most high end competitor boards. Military Class II takes this to the next level with super ferrite chokes, which are 10% more efficient with 30% higher current capacity which means less heat, more stability and more overclocking headroom. Also, expect Asus & Gigabyte to be talking about Hi-C Polymer caps in a year or two the way that they are now talking about DrMOS (Unlocked Power/Digital VRM) which MSI introduced three years ago. Hi-C Cap are the capacitors used on the International Space Station and in military equipment, they are made with a self-repairing, nobel prize winning polymer and a super high conductive tantalum core.

Also, if you buy a GD65 you will have the opportunity to enter an OcUK exclusive overclocking competiton to win an MSI Graphics card which will be announced here in the next few days. ;)

Please be aware guys that there is only a limited amount of stock available for this offer so don't wait too long before making up your mind.

OcUK once again bringing some epic deals to the table. :D

Also guys remember to use the OcUK voucher code to get even more money off and then factor in free shipping too for forum members, simply epic. :)

It's still just marketing poo though. Military tech is 10-15 years ahead of civy tech (assuming it passes prototype status). When people were playing with their bbc micros laptops were already being issued to certain outfits :)

Ssd were originally built for fighter jets and ballistic missiles but you don't see every ssd producer slapping military on their products. Actually in ocz case they're labelled shock resistant to 1500G, yet in the manual it says do not drop.

In any case, and as nice as msi boards are, cash-back has never worked in the uk, and it would be nice if the American influence in companies would stop trying. Why cant ocuk just take £24 off the price? Most people would rather a strait discount that have to go asking for their money back once a company's played with it for a while :p

Because it is MSI's deal they are putting exclusivly through OcUK.
