ok well i'd like to thank you for your time and help as i wouldnt of been able to do this alone lol 1 last thing would my old artic freezer 7 pro fit this cpu or should i stick with the default untill i can get 1?

Sorry, should have noticed earlier.

The case wont fit the motherboard as its to small and crap.

The motherboard is a ATX size, the case supports M-ATX.

ok thanks if i drop 4gb of the ram would it effect performance in games going from 8 to 4gb and how about this case BitFenix Shinobi Gaming Case - Black

4GB of Ram is plenty for gaming and the BitFenix Shinobi is a good case.

I say it all the time, if your going to spend lots of money on fans then you may as well start of with a better case that includes extra fans to start with.

That CM case has a 120mm at the rear as standard, so add a 120mm to the front.

If you buy seven then thats £14 on fans, which can get you a better case,

ok well thank you for your time mate helped me out a lot and as for the heatsink (artic freezer 7 pro) will that fit this cpu no worries if not for the time being as its a old heatsink i have laying around

As above, if it supports socket 1156 then it will also fit 1155, if its really old and been laying around forever then its likely to only be compatible with lga775 and AMD AM2=
