Advice please on upgrading

i have a

q6600 @3.2
abit ip 35 pro motherboard
4gb ocz 1066mhz ddr2
gtx 295
corsair tx 650w power supply
antec nine hundread case
asus 1080p monitor
vista 64

i only want to game, mainly playing call of duty black opps 2 (i run 100 to 150 fps on med/low graphics) and ghosts later on this year

I have around £400 pushing £500 atm and will have maybe a similar amount to spend in 9 months time , it would be great to upgrade to direct 11 graphics asap but not the deciding factor i want smooth game-play more then anything, would i be better getting the new Nivida 770 or will it be bottle necked too badly by my existing system ?
i could upgrade my cpu motherboard first http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-162-OE&groupid=43&catid=2512&subcat=2604
what is the better choice ? i am planning on upgrading to windows 8 64 whichever i upgrade first.

Bottleneck, I would think. Dunno how bad though.

I suppose you should be looking at the experiences of people who have done a Q6600@>3GHz with a GTX680 / GTX670 / HD7970 / HD7950. Reading around, it's not gonna work too well.

Thx i can't find to many examples but most confirm bottlenecking, going to order a i5 bundle tomorrow, might try using the onboard haswell graphics instead of my gtx 295 for direct x11 graphics, i would love to know what nivida card they compare against can't find anything specific atm just there similar too a 650 or a 660 if its the latter it should be be an improvement over the 295 from the charts nivda give http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-770/performance
