About the geil but that is the early d9 chips which all do 1000+mhz i dont think the newer batches are d9 micron chips.

also that mobo doesnt seem to say anything about SLI , and really need that just in case i decide to get another gfx card

The ocz gold edition pc 8000 are £85 per 1 gb stick and they match the above dominator if you tighten the timings and increase the voltage.So thats pretty good if you ask me.£446.49 inc VAT vs £170 hmm tough choice for the same performance.

Keeping with the quiet theme in my current case which i will be keeping (lian-li PC-60) it has spaces for 4x80mm fans , but which fans to pick ?

Keeping in mind i wont be overclocking a great deal but want a nice quiet yet stable pc

I would get some Yate Loons or Noctua NF-R8 (based on the S12), both are excellent series fans good at pushing out the air and very quiet!

You mean the goodies I aquired? Not yet, need to wait on a few other things coming in the post, as I don't want to be opening and closing my case so much! I also need to get a Yate to compare it to, shall I get black or orange? :cool:

I have filled my case with the 'Asbo-orange' coloured ones. I think they will show up better in the photos. Obviously they are a horribly violent orange colour (think 'Guantanamo Bay detainee uniforms'

) so if you have a windowed case then go for black. :cool:

Can't say, rules is rules. I have mentioned to them before about getting nexus/yate loons in, no progress on that as yet.

Try putting 'Yate Loon 120mm' into google and searching for UK pages only. There are some on a popular auction site too
