For watching Blu-rays your existing Song TV should be great, however when you are doing desktop stuff and surfing the net you may find the low resolution to be a bit limiting (1366x768) compared to almost double the number of pixels on a 1080p or 1200p 24in monitor.

I would have a go with the TV first (since you already have it) and if you feel you need more resolution (and smaller pixels) for using the web, then we'll be happy to recommend you some good monitors.

Please recommend me some good monitors :D

With that kind of budget I would really go with a high quality monitor like this.

However, if you don't think you need an IPS panel, then something like this will be a good bet.

get the BenQ EW2420, it's perfect for your use although if you think you may start gaming with it then get the u2311H

Depends on what kind of gaming you do. I spend a lot of my time thinking about the EW2420 whilst using the XL2410T to test out gaming performance. Obviously this is for mental comparison but I don't usually experience such a monitor lust. I had the same thing when I was reviewing the U2311H just after the U2410.

That was a reply to HW91. I would recommend the EW2420 for your uses but do be aware of the inter-unit variability that seems to affect the panel more than some others.
