Right ive got a build idea in my head, and ive decided to use water cooling (my first time)
There are a range of problems so need something that solves them all.
I'll be running a Q6600 @ max overclock

1) Case size, im going for a SFF Lian Li V350 (when it comes out over here) or a V300 with more modding to do.
Radiator Size must be under, 273mm x 120mm x XXmm
MagiCool 240 Radiators fit the bill, can only get the UV Blue one in the uk, unless someone else can find the black one available in the UK
2) Case size again - i want a res+pump combo or a res and pump that will fit into the height of 2x5.25" bays but MUST be smaller than about 120mm (so no full size 5.25" res's or anything like that.

So i need some advice about what Blocks, Barbs, Tube's etc to use. budget is slightly limited but still want good components.

Thanks for reading and any advice given

looking at the prices of pumps and cpu blocks. i wonder if getting a pump+cpu block combo would be a cheaper option, would i lose much performance doing this?

Setup looks like this atm.

Swiftech MCP655 12 VDC Pump £52.86
Swiftech MCRES- Micro Res £11.74
MagiCool 240 UV Radiator £27.01
D-TEC FuZion CPU Block £39.35
Masterkleer 7/16" Tubing 2m £3.00
Total - £133.96

this is without barbs and addetive. can anyone see somewhere i could save without losing too much performance

thanks for any info

The advice I would give you first and foremost is get the case first. Look at it. Think. Post lots of pictures. Once you've seen where everything fits, and you've placed all the other components, then you know how much space you have to work with for the water cooling. Until then, all you can do is speculate. Now, I love this sort of thing because it's how I pick up most of my stuff - cheap on MM - after people realise it won't work or it's just not that easy, but until you've seen the case, don't think about speccing anything else because you just plain don't know what you need.

I agree. I bought an Antec P182, only to realise within a week it was useless for what I wanted. I since bought a Silverstone TJ07 which is simply amazing. However I'm now stuck trying to sell my P182 on a certain auction site
