Advice sought please

I have just got to my other half's house after a nightmare of a day with the ankle.

Barratts have been round and patched up all of the potholes in the road, except where my car is parked where my accident took place. I now have three builders sat beside my car waiting for it to move so that they can fill in the hole. I am not moving my car until I get proper photos of the offending hole.

I can only guess that a neighbour who saw what happened informed Barratts and they have rushed out the road workers hoping to avoiv

repercussions by leaving no evidence. Pity for them my car ain't moving. :p

so what should my course of action be?

Well, just do as you're doing, get photos as soon as you can and then take it from there?
Is it really "their" fault though? If you've had months to realise the road's a bit lower than it should be?
 
It's not a bit lower, they're a big hole that I didn't see as it was 10:30 last night.
Just seems a little sus that the day after I do my ankle in, with one of the neigbours seeing exactly what happened, they come and start patching up a road that has been untouched since december.
 
take photos then let them patch it up, cpntact your council and barrats and let them sort if out between themselves...

So I stepped off a pavement, onto a road which is supposed to be under the care of Barratts, placed my foot onto the edge of a pothole and sprained my ankle. It was 10:30 and dark, as well as being just behind my car. Barratts have been delaying laying tarmac on the road since Christmas. And it is a reflection of this poor road state that they have sent a crew out to patch it up today. I was unlucky, but if Barratts had repaired the road yesterday, I would not be in this situation. By doing it today, they are basically admitting that it was not in a good state.
 
Barratt's head office is opposite my office in my building. They aren't very popular it would appear since they were sent packs of fake ricin. Want me to give them another ricin scare or similar? :p

lmao, doesn't help me with the pain or the money i lost not working today. :(
