Hello people, i have a Shuttles system and a AMD x2 5000 black edition. I have started to overclock for the first time to improve my system. My default windows 7 cpu score was 5.6 and i now have it to 6.1 which i was quite pleased with. However i would like some advise on the other settings. The system is stable at present. I have added some screen shots with some questions if anyone could advise that would be great.

This is the current setup i have. Stable, but not sure if its correct or i should change otehr settings below.

i have no idea what this does!

Ok i have left the memory as standard but some basic guides state i should increase this, with it being on auto where would be a good setting to try?

Is this something you would change?

Again not sure about this apart from it wont boot on 1.5 lol!!

As it now stands

On a slighty more helpfull note.

Get a copy of cpu-z, core temp and orthos.

have a look at the voltage in cpuz. normally when left on auto it the mother board will overvolts makeing more heat. Most of the time you can knock the vcore down a couple of notches from auto. test with orthos while keeping an eye on temps with core temp. the ddr voltages should be printed on each stick just key them into the bios. you can leave cpu ratio alone. i assume chipset volatge is teh NB would prob leave on auto tbh.

you need to reduce the picture!

get a bigger monitor
