hey guys

around a month ago i had telewest installed in my house that im renting.
But there was a slight complication and the engineer had to pull the cable around the whole house.

When he got to my room he was drilling a hole to the outside of the house (garden) and by mistake he drilled a hole into the bathroom wall leaving a great big hole through the new tiles. ( He said he would fill it but he didnt the little twit)

Now as i am renting the landlord will no doubt want to take my deposit as there has been damage and the tile has to be replaced.

I was wondering do you think i can claim the money back from telewest as it is their fault?

yep you should then engineer should always complete the work so its neat and tidy, unless he was doing a foreigner ;)

Did he say why it had to go all through the house?

I would take a picture and send it with a polite letter explaining the situation and asking them to rectify it, either through financial compensation, or by sending someone round to fix it.

Indeed. To be honest I wouldn't've let him leave. Or filmed it.
