Hi guys wonder if I can post a little work related question 4U

I'm on the way out of my current job with the new on starting next wednesday, thing is my last day @ my current job finishes on Monday with just the standard clearances left. Well today I had a slight altercation with my manager and it ended with me clocking out and just leaving work before time. I have struggled with my notice as I have never held so much hate for 1 company in my entire life and just want the pain to end. With todays altercation I feel that now is the time.

My question is if I don't return to work on Monday and subsequently not carry out any clearances where do I stand? Can they withold my P45? Or do anything apart from not paying me for my last day.

I hope someone can shed some light on this 4 me. I've got a drum full of petrol and just waiting to burn that bridge!!!!

You can self-certify that you were sick for 5 days. They need to PROVE you weren't. Home visit is out because they need your permission go round or else it's harrassment. And even if they get tetchy about that, get your GP to sign you off with stress. Job done.

what was the altercation about?

was it your bosses fault?

if so then just resign without notice telling more senior management you feel you cant work there anymore because of the altercation

Update

Went to work tis morning to clear, boss was pretty keen for me to be in and out as quick as possible. Was gone within 30mins NEVER to see the place again.

I left on good terms, he didnt want me there and i didnt want to be there

Now its time for a proper job with a decent company that isnt run by pikyes and the secret handshake society.
