Currenly folding on an Eeepc701 (900-961mhz) and an advent laptop

as I just wanted to do my little bit to begin with (1.8 Celeron Core2) but I'm getting more and more interested and will be building rig soon to move this thing over to only being for portable use ( Im not the best at saving instead of wasting)
I was refering to advmethods rather than bigadv and SMP clients as I am already aware of the bonuses but wasnt sure if there would be any bonus mainly of the advent as usually runs 15-18 mins a frame ( should have mentioned per frame in OP aswell)
The rig will consist initially of
E1200 - already bought and hoping for 2.8-3ghz clocks
2GB Ram
8800 GT maybe 9600GX2
OCZ/Corsair PSU
Firstly I'll move from el cheapo case to CM-690 II Advanced as I adore this case and spotted it a while before release
I'll then expand the system over another month or so to bring in a Q6600 and a second Nvidia card.
Finally from there adding a water loop, possibly two loops if I can get blocks for the Graphics cards
As far as OS I'm open I have a reasonable knowledge of Ubuntu/Debian as I was using it for desktop use for 6-9 months, as well as running a dedicated webserver/ media stream server on CentOS
