I'm having problems gaming over wireless on a Netgear WG834G, with a Netgear WG311 PCI card, the connection doesn't drop but I get random lag spikes (few seconds delay) every now and again, I think this is down to the location of the PCI wireless aerial, my laptop has no problems using the same wireless connection from a couple of metres away from the PCI aerial, if it does spike on the laptop its very very occasional.
I can't run a cable as there is existing laminate flooring which I can't touch.
Does anyone know if there is some kind of adaptor that i can screw into the PCI wireless card to extend the aerial to the another location?, I'm guessing thats what the problem is.
