It's easier to buy fitness than it is to sweat for it :p

Looking for marginal gains £££ before exhausting all the 'freebies' like losing weight and improving flexibility and positioning is a little short sighted :)

You are missing the point!

You would have been faster at dragging their unfit arses home if your Allez was a Venge.:p

I was sand bagging the last 30 so the two on the 'fast' bikes could keep up - we wanted to finish together :)

Or people have decent disposable income and like nice things. No different to people owning sports/super cars/bikes that cant drive/ride them properly.

Very true. In a similar camp myself to some extent :p

It just doesn't negate the need to actually improve your own fitness/power output too :) maybe not at the same rate you acquire fancy tech ;)
