Aesthetically best and worst looking F1 cars

The worst! Probably the original BAR with it's lucky strike and 555 livery......pass the bucket!

The best! Brabham BT44B best looking car in unmistakable Martini livery.....

I honestly think last years Brawn should go down as one of the classics. Nice shape, very simple livery (I love the cars without too much sponsorship, or just one overriding one, like the old Ferraris or the current Renault), and creamed the floor with the opposition for a lot of the season. :)

If you're looking for a proper munter then go and have a google for the Ferrari 312 B3 'Spazzaneve'.
That's no moon!

A giant of a car, but asthetically not as nice in my opinion as the n/a cars with an airbox

Mp4-5B for example.

For me thats almost car perfection.

Was given a close up walk around of one a few years ago - there isn't a single angle where it looks like anything could have been slimmed down or made lighter. I nearly had a crisis.

I find the current Renault to be an eyesore and the McLaren to be the nicest.

My current beef with F1 design is the shark fin business. It makes even the nicest looking cars look even more peculiar, over long and cumbersome. Yet the 2008 cars marked the low point in F1 design. That nasty 'flips and flaps' era has a lot to answer for.

As for the nicest ever? Well, I'm more of a late 80's guy when it comes to F1 car crushes, but my absolute favourite is a Lotus 49.

Also the tobacco ones of the 80s, the yellow camel one, the JPS ones and the white orange mclaren.

Like these?

Just a note, that isn't actually Nigel Mansell in the second pic.
