Going to put a Nest Hello in
Typical new build wired doorbell only puts out 6v
It is a Deta C3504 - wall mounted chime & transformer all in a plain box on the hallway wall. No consumer unit transformer - looks like 240v straight to the hallway wall from the ground floor lighting circuit.
All I can seem to find are DIN rail mount transformers - not ideal for the visible wall. All empty enclosures I've found would be fine for a cupboard but not idea for a hallway wall.
Am I looking in the wrong place, any advice on an enclose that looks OK?
Even better, any advice on finding a decent 12-24v doorbell transformer designed for a visible wall and not DIN mounted, even better if it has a built in chime?! Thank you in advance!!!
