Im updating my gfx card as at the moment im running an 8800GT 500mb

That is going into my HTPC, but what can i replace it with that wont break the bank but has some kick!

overclockers....over to you

PS when i say break the bank im thinking around £150 :P i made the mistake of getting a stupidly fast one years ago and it just dropped off a cliff so never doing that again

GTX460 would be my choice, but with the GTX560 out it might pay to wait a few weeks to see if prices move.

GTX 460 is a very solid performer, even the 'crippled' lower memory version if Nvidia is prefered.

I only run @ 1440 x 900 ATM since my other screen decided to break, but it runs Bad Company 2 with every setting on max, 4 x AA, with V-Sync enabled at 60 FPS nearly all the time minor the odd moment of carnage where it will drop to 40 something.
