......I decided not to wait any longer.

Been offered a E6300 @ £80 delivered. Going to have to take it.

Just hoping for some good clocks now.

Going to wait til overclockers show their this week only.

--------------

Im hoping for some good ram @ cheap prices and an conroe really really cheap lol

so much for waiting for intels price cuts :o

Well on the RAM front 2Gb of PC6400 can be had for as little as £99 which will get you to 400FSB ( 2.8Ghz with a 6300 )

Alittle more will get you some low latency 6400 stuff that should clock better and do about 900Mhz, 450FSB which would be about 3Ghz with a 6300

I doubt youre going to get an E6300 any cheaper than that TBH, make sure you get a good cooler for it.

A Zalman 9700 Aero should do the trick. Might need to invest in some better thermal grease though.

I am definitly going to lap the CPU though. For that price sod the warrenty.

The E6400 with 4Mb cache (E6450??) is going to be the sweet spot once they come out and the price cuts take hold!

As far as i read they will not be called the E6350 and E6450 they will be the E6320 and E6420, the 6x50 will be released later in the year and they will be the 1333FSB CPU's
