On one hand, you get to wear a cool expensive ring.

On the other, you don't.
 
12 years together and no marriage yet. Most of my friends have been married and divorced like some kind of curse!

Also you can still wear a cool and expensive ring without being married so joke is invalid :p
 
By all means get married but I just see it as a waste of money if you splash out £1000s on a lavish wedding.

Cheap registry office and an evening doo with a buffet in pub somewhere will do.

We did registry office followed by a crazy long weekend in Ibiza

Still going very strong. 18 years engaged and 12 years married
 
I've been married 5. Its hard going sometimes but I'll always do my very best by my wife and our kids.

Hopefully that's enough for us to stay happy for many many years.
