Age gaps

Let's see if that holds up in court for the paedophiles. :p

Legal age of consent is 16 in the UK.

Paedophilia is attraction to pre pubescent kids.

According to the law, if a 60 year old man consensually slept with a 16 year old girl, the court would be powerless do to anything about it because it is legal.

Missing the point. Nobody doubts that people are free to choose what they wish to do. It's fact - it isnt up for debate.

People are more than entitled to think its a bit weird, though.

She's 32 not 60 and the likely hood of them staying together when she hits 60 isn't very strong, is it? It's pretty obvious that he's there to get his end away, simple as that. Not looking for long term ties.

Age is just a number man, the law doesn't matter.

Wow, the people that are offended are right twits. People should just mind their business. I for one don't give a flying hoot and in fact I wish they succeed just so that the "offended" people get annoyed.

I'm 17 myself and wouldn't be interested in having a relationship with a 32 year old, I'd say it would be incredibly awkward.

At your age (no disrespect) most lads, I'd say, think with their penis and I think this is the case here.

You should always marry a woman someone 10-15 years older than you for the following reasons:

1) The average life expectancy of a man is 75 years
2) The average life expectancy of a woman is 80 years.

So if you marry a woman who is 10-15 years older than you, make sure she has life insurance because then on average you will at least get 5-10 years of blowing all the life insurance payout on coke and hookers.

If you marry a woman the same age or younger, then she is going to be the one blowing all your hard-earned life insurance payout - failface.

Forward thinking y'see!

I am not offended but I do think it is very weird. As has been said, if the bloke was the older party, then he would attract a lot of criticism, and I think quite rightly.

I am 31, and remember very well what it was like being 17. There will be a world of difference between them. At 17 you might think you know it all, but you don't. If anyone my age was dating a schoolboy/ schoolgirl I would think they were pretty weird.

Age gaps are creepy, I know Hef is a lucky, lucky guy but can you imagine the 18 yr old playboy bunnys that have slept with him?

Ewwwww

I went to college with a 16 year old girl who was with a 35 year old and that was sick and twisted, guys who go out with girls that young only have one thing in mind and the girls are usually naive and get treated badly.

I've heard that the older you get, the less age means, however, my dad is 5 years older than my mum (dad is 60, mum is 55) so basically when my dad was 20, my mum was 15, thinking of it like that is creepy, however my parents didn't meet till my mum was 20 anyway, so I guess putting it like that, makes it ok.

I'm 24, and would think nothing of going out with a girl who was 18 or a women who was 35, maybe even 40 if she was hot.

Is that hypocritical of me?
