He has a point, WoW's combat system wasn't very...involved.

There are no auto attacks in AoC, only time you should be waiting is if you have a buff to cast or casting a spell.

i know but you can quite easily do it.....

Whereas a game like fable where you actually have to move about to dodge hits etc if you need a drink or something you have to pause or finish the fight before doing so.

Wow is to scripted in combat.... ive just found out about this game and i am hoping the combat system is more open and free where you can attack anything when you want and actually run behind it to dodge etc wihtout the enemy being 20ft away and still hitting you?

Course it was. Yes it had auto-attack but it had lots of different options during combat. Sure you could sit back and not really pay attention to what was going on, but you wouldn't be very good at it if you did that.

Ok i jusr received confirmation email to state that my Early access is confirmed. only strange thing seems to be that the link they are giving me to dowmnload client says its US One?

yes. uk version of the rainforest site. they even sent me the link to the registeration form which registered fine

Hit them an e-mail back saying that you are listed in an EU country and have been sent a link that will not work with the accoutn you ordered.

also, the game is 13gb's and the download rate isnt incredible so it may take a day or two.

I already started downloading the EU version 2 hours ago. its nearly done.

You need to contact Funcom as it's an issue with the way they flag your account. This problem has been talked about on the AOC forums.
