Age of Conan: Pre-order Crew

I just pre-ordered. Today is the Jersey company's last day for pre-order release of Early Access keys. Should get it soon hopefully then! :D

I think some of you are getting confused about the pay for early access charges... You get 10 days playtime with the money you pay, so that combined with the 30 days with retail version means you get 40 days playtime. 6 of the 10 days you pay for will be the early access from the 17th to the 23rd.

I think I'm going to wait and not bother with eary access since no doubt there'll be launch issues with the servers and everyone complaining about paying for the early access.

I look at it the opposite way, with early access it means the areas you're in will be less swamped, the starting zones will be less lagged. Not only that, but if there are problems with account registration due to the masses hammering the servers on release day, you skip all that. I think early release will give a much higher quality of service for the start of the game than if you start on release day.

Does anyone have a decent link to a website which has easily accessible data on the classes, realms, etc? I was part of the full beta, but due to various reasons I had to withdraw and I haven't filled in an error report since 2007. There was only 7 or 8 classes available at the time....just wanting to read up on some more before I get started :D

got my pre-order key via email today, it says:

Dear Customer,

Thank You for Pre-Ordering Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures from **competitor**.

To register for your 3 day early access client, go to register.ageofconan.com, enter the code found below, and follow the onscreen instructions.

**not telling**

The client will become available to download on 16th May and you will be able to log into Age of Conan on 19th May.

Please Note: the download client costs 5 Euros and must be downloaded before the launch of the game. Customers that do not wish to take part in this offer will of course be able to play the game normally on launch day. They will also receive their Mammoth Mount.

Once again, thank you for pre-ordering from **competitor**

The Team,
**competitor**

I preordered yesterday for my Rhino edition. Last date was yesterday for the keys, The last pre order for the Mammoth and keys is today.

However after seeing the size of the download, by the time I have downloaded the thing, allowing for server capacity, my disks will have probably arrived rendering the keys useless.

Im just wondering, can you transfer your character from the open beta to the final released version?

i dont want to level a character to the limit in the beta and then find out i have to do it again in the release.

The links mentioned by some users were not correct. They linked to a wrong version of the client. The correct one will be published soon.

Thanks.

so hold your horses.

Lol. "Soon." Funcom are really testing the patience of the community with their attitudes towards, well, the community. The lack of communication is ridiculous.

Pre-order cancelled, AoC just isn't for me :/
Struggling to play the beta for more then an 30 mins without getting bored, it all just feels so dull :(
I know the open beta isn't really the best way to decide if you like the game but I cant imagine it getting much better for release. Tried both PVE and PVP...meh
