Updated first post, lets get some resources people! What do we want next, walls or buildings?

Friend of mine said we could have a sub-forum @ http://www.esgaming.co.uk Plenty of bandwidth to be had. Just let me know, or I'll have to mess about creating a portal, setting up the forum and getting hosting etc.

Hmm i think we'd be better off with our own forum, subforums all well and good but would get cluttered quickly. Or else we'd need a full section with multiple sub sections, ie Crafting/Trading/General Chat/PVP Organising/Raid-Instance Organising.
 
I put a load of gear in the traders storage, and could not see it. Im wondering if its lost.

Can someone let me know how the trade skills work. do you have to run round trying to find the correct resourse to use with the correct skill.

Just a quick rundown really.
 
there's some info in the first post re trade skills, were not really sure if everything is working as intended yet either! basically when you hit 40 you can get the profession quests (see the first post), then in order to craft something you need to buy a certain component (in making a sword it was a basic hilt or something which cost me 6C) then using the resources i collected i was able to craft it. you will have to either collect/beg/borrow/buy/steal resources in order to make your item.

you then need to present the first item to the guy you got the quest off to complete the quest.

one word of advice, don't take all the quests from your chosen profession at once, otherwise you'll fill your quest log and be unable to take anymore quests until they are cleared (you can't delete them). i found this out myself :(

i'm not the most clued up on crafting but in a nutshell that's it. im also not sure if the componenets you need (hilts etc etc) to buy are dropped.
 
A character can have 2 Tradeskill classes, and all the harvesting classes.

Currently there is no feature to reset these if you regret your choice. This will be added, but unfortunatly not in the immediate future as it is currently technically a bit difficult to accomplish.

That was posted by one of the development team on the AOC forums, so Frapple if you could take the part about it possibly being a glitch out of the OP. 2 Professions is intended which is good news :).
