Im having a flippin nightmare here! All of a sudden my internet on my main computer, connected to this one (my dads) via wireless has gone completely screwy i.e. I have none.

My wireless adapter is connecting to the router no problem, connection shows as very good, it's just I seem to have no Default gateway, DNS server, or WINS server assigned, they are all blank! Here's what it looks like:

The router has been rebooted (i.e: unplugged and plugged in again) many times, I even just reformatted the bloody machine to see if anything had somehow gone screwy yet it's exactly the same, it's so frustrating!

My router is a D-Link DSL-G604T
My wireless USB adapter is a D-link DWL-G120

Dads computer connected to the router by ethernet has internet and i'm writing on it now, but could it be the router that's not assigning anything to the wireless card? Would resetting the router to factory defaults and setting it all up again help do you think?

If anyone has any ideas PLEASE help me out, networking is my knowledge deficit and I really need this sorting asap! :(

Yeah, it's not getting an IP or anything from the router.

Tried disabling encryption/MAC address lists etc?

Tried disabling WEP etc and still no joy. It was working perfectly fine one moment and then the next... boom.

I'm sure I had this problem before and made a thread ages ago that just about solved it but I think it's been deleted here on OCUK.... :(

EDIT - Do you think buying a new aand better router and PCI wireless card such as Linksys (Cisco) may help?
