AGP 8x configurations also supported with AGP-PCI-E external bridge chip

Anyone know what this means...??? Its for a PCI-E card, but would suggest it can be used in an AGP slot... anyone know anything??

Most current AGP cards are basically the same as the PCI-E variants but with an added bridge chip on the card itself to convert the signals to AGP, so basically all it means is the card can also be found in an AGP-compatible flavour. Putting that in a product description is very misleading.

They did this with most, if not all, of the AGP cards since the X800/6800 series.

I had a 7800GS AGP, and if you got the cooler off, there was an additional chip converting the PCIe card to an AGP slot.
