AHH! Help!

I was just merging two partitions on my 320GB Western Digital, when the machine just turned off.

In Partition Magic, that whole drive just shows up as yellow and is not assigned a drive letter...

What should I do next?

depends if you had data on it that you want/need

It may have been a PM question

Recuva or Getdataback for ntfs

are your friends.

please tell me you didn't use PM on a vista PC ?

I think I can recover it... so slightly calmer now

I am using XP at the moment... for some reason I think Windows decided to put the pagefile on the drive I was merging without my permission, and Partition Magic probably thought it was a good idea to ignore it and still try and merge the drives :confused:

Sounds right for PM, Recuva or Getdataback will work

, I've used both lots of times.
