Just had my first ever DOA drive, I have been so lucky until now
Drive I bought was a WD 640GB black, dated november 11th 2008 (so be warned if yours is the same date!)
Last 3 days of my holiday and I was really looking forward to having a mess about with a new bit of kit
Anyway the real reason I started this thread was to ask what the RMA speed on WD drives is normally like or what OcUKs RMA speeds on dead drives are like? I've only ever had to RMA a motherboard before and that was a long time ago
I can't believe i woke up at 8:30 on a day off for this >_<
