I've absolutely no idea. There's an unmentional place not far from the Girlfriend, suppose it's as good a place as any. Could do with a more specialised place like Davey says. No Sevenoakes or anything? There's one in Sheffield.......

I spent £750 on a import Saturn, and traded it in for a import PSX and another £100 about a month after.

Looks like the op has got a bargain - with inflation that Saturn price is probaly more like about £1100 nowadays.
 
Quality. As someone said, good to see some variety on the forums. Seeing 360 left, right and centre was doing my nut in.
 
I'll have a look out for richer sounds, if there isn't one i have an idea where they might sell them.

I can't believe how short the charger wire for the ps3 pad is :(
 
Some are, i've looked round net and some seem reasonable, so high street price will be about 3x of what i've seen on the net :( :o

If your desperate for a reasonable price quick fix "the highstreet catalogue based store" do them for I think £20. Can't check as DNS problems that I don't understand means my net access at work is restricted to about 3 sites :(
 
Hmmm, seems a nice price,thanks for that :) I just called up another store and there selling them for £59.99 :(

The demos seem to download a lot faster than the 360 ones, but then again there isn't as many users :p

Gamespot said it was a bit hit and miss as to whether it downloaded quickly or not.
 
It does look very sexay but I can't really justify one at the launch price. Once prices drop sub £250 then i'll consider it (give it another 2 years then). Or if BD takes off before then I ight go for it.
 
I have been playing resistance some more, and it's definately fun :)

Tried a quick online game and connected ok, there didn't seem to be noticeable lag so that's also good considering I'm probably playing people in the USA or Japan, the map I tried was set for 16 people (small map, there was a choice of 16 or 40 player maps), with 7 people on it.
Maybe when more people here have the game can get some mp games going?

The interface is growing on me now, just takes a little bit of exploring to find things, the photo viewing options are pretty good, normal clips, slideshow, portrait (zooms in / out etc), and the album which groups them by date/time and sort of throws them onto a moving table as if they were real photos (you probably already knew this, but it was one thing I was unaware of), nice way to quickly view 200 holiday photos!

I tested the web browser out, and seems to do the job ok, but I could only try 1 or 2 sites as I need to buy a mini usb keyboard to use with it, takes far too long to enter a url with the entry screen on it (my only gripe with the system so far!).

Instead of being dissapointed at all, I am actually more impressed than I thought I would be, obviously it was quite a lot to pay but I don't really trust Sony to bring it out next March on time, and besides it won't be new then and i would have missed out on 3-4 months of games etc on it, I can also order some Blu Ray films to watch and currently standalone blu Ray players cost more than I paid for the PS3 (as far as I am aware).

I do have a HD DVD drive preordered for the 360 as well (who knows what will come out on each format :)) and ultimately I just want to be able to play the best games on all formats!

Will post more as time goes on.

Hope everyone else who has theirs now, or is getting them soon are as happy with it as I am!

Just got an hmdi cable from town, £35 so wasn't that bad. What's everyones ps3 gamer tag? Mine is Soulja, feel free to add me :cool:

There isn't one to my knowledge, but then again I haven't been into town for ages, let me know if there is one.

Though I maybe tempted to pop round and play on your PS3 :p
