But i haven't found anything that makes them vanish, and apparently nothing can!
That's why it's very important to be proactive by using moisturisers and keep hydrated before the stretch marks rather than after they have appeared.

Ive got em too....biceps, triceps, pec tie-ins, shoulders, and stomach (from when I used to be a pie eating student....they appeared when the weight came off...not when I put it on). Sounds like a lot, but unfortunately you will get used to it. Its either moisturise to prevent, dont moisturise, or dont go to the gym and become a FB!!

They fade after a while once the skin has stopped stretching. Nothing can make strech marks vanish completely, but a lot of products out there, like bio oil will help reduce them slightly.

I've been going to the gym for nearly a year now and just recently I've noticed I've started to get stretch marks just above my arm pits. I've nicked the following picture from a body building website but it shows what I mean.

Is there any way to prevent, stop and/or remove these marks because they are beginning to become quite noticeable. I've read this is normal but I don't know anyone else that this has happened to. I don't want my arms to drop off, I still use them a lot :(

ive had stretch marks for years now i hate them but if your going to bodybuild you have to live with it. it seems the bigger i get the more i get :( stretch mark cream doesnt work tried most of them only thing that has 100% guarantee is plastic surgery but they do fade over time so surgery is really a last resort :)

I've got them the same place as the pic but twice as big and also going down my bicep... I look at them as a sign of good progess ;)

I look at mine at once being fat, its a mental scare I have to live with :( Good motivation for getting in shape though.
