Im sorry if this has no topic in here but my frustration is at boiling point!
I have been on Virgin Media(former NTL) for roughly 8 years or so..........I have always been very satisfied with their service untill now...
I have 3 packages on with them at the moment, phone, TV and broadband excellent service I thought until yesterday!
My phone decided not to work, ok I thought checked all the usual.....phone, battery.......but no joy. Made a mobile call to my mother in law to ask her to call Virgin to see what the problem was.
She made the call, and the guy on the other side was very abrupt, and told her that IF it was not a fault on their side we would be charged 25 quid for a call out charge.............ok I thought I had tried various phones on the line and the line was still dead.............I thought i was safe there....
I was then told that an engineer would call round on Monday(now Tuesday) to call round to resolve the problem. 6 days away.....My G/F phoned again explaining that I nedded the phone for my business of work. She was told that nothing could be done until Monday, I accepted this outcome.
(Interesting part)
My sister in-law called me today and got a DAVE on the phone, SHE thought I was playing a practical joke she went along with the conversation. DAVE told her that she had phoned the wrong number.......and she tried to phone again, to be answered by DAVE again.
So she decided to call round to my house explaining the call.........Strange I thought.....so I called MY HOME NUMBER to be answered by DAVE!!!!!!!!!!!
I explained the situation, and he said that his phone was installed yesterday with the same number as me!!!!!!!!!!!!
I phoned VIRGIN again.......and was told that I was on hold for at least 20 mins, 26 mins later I was cut off!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......I was ripping my hair at this point!!!
I phoned again to be told that I was on hold for 5 mins.............another 26 mins went past and I finally got through..........................
I got through to india and the guy I was speaking to couldnt believe it, he couldnt explain why this had happened.....Then proceeded to tell me that an engineer would be round MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THATS IT VIRGIN IM GONNA CANCEL THE LOT WITH YOU,.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,ARRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
whats good for the goose is whats good for the gander...........Im gonna sue
..........u! seeeeeeee ya in court.........:0
What are my rights?..............can I have them?, sue them.........come on u O/C gurus.....................u can help me..........Im sure a few people have some info for me?
