Over a year ago, maybe 2 years ago I downloaded an app advertised on YouTube (I think) that would create videos for you if you gave it some information. I tried it and it looked like it was doing it's thing but said it would take a while because my phone wasn't powerful enough and suggested I use a PC. So I stopped and thought I'll do that when I sort my pc room out. Well I never got round to it.

Im looking for some tips on making the most of these AI content creation apps but ive tried like 2 or 3 different ones and get to what seems lile the final stage and it tells me ive ran out of credits or I need to buy credits or subscribe to continue. Will any of them ever let you create the video (money asking for a less than 2mins short) before they charge you?

Is there any good advice to get around this? Ie. Would a more precise description just get it done.

I might have a try creating the shorts without AI when I finally get around to sorting that pc room out.

Running one of the frontier AI models like GPT5 or Claude needs a good half a million dollar's worth of hardware (and then some).

People need to get used to paying for AI services.....they cost a lot of money to provision.
