AI? Aye aye! *

What impossible now will not be impossible in the future. Theory's change as knowledge grows. Each generation is limited to the knowledge of current and past generations. Warp speed is not impossible. There's a good chance we will find something faster than the speed of light.
there really isn't - there is a lot of evidence that suggests its a fundamental limit of the universe.

I'm looking forward to time travel! I'm sure AI can help with that along with other problems we have.

i agree with Mustafa Suleyman - its ludicrous to suggest AI is, or even will be, conscious.
Its like saying your calculator is because its good at maths.

Sorry no, you clearly did not understand my post. What is evidence now many not be evidence in the future. We are all bound by our current and past knowledge. There are plenty of examples of theories that were thought to be true later proven incorrect.

Each generation is limited to the knowledge of current and past generations.

How can anyone be in £57k worth of uni debt?!

Back in 2003 or when ever i was in uni, i took out 3k for the first two years and nothing on the 3rd year

and I had a part time job!

I guess if you take out 57k and used it for a house deposit, it may seem sensible? maybe ? however, i bet most people spend it on booze and hookers

Tuition fees have kinda increased since 2003… Depending on the course someone was on and how much interest has piled up since then, £57k isn’t that hard to believe.

The system is properly broken.

6 years from now there is a very good chance you will see the first nuclear reactor on the moon.
Alright, I’ll take that bet.

!remindme 6 years

Do you have any idea how long it takes to build a nuclear reactor on earth? Or how hard it is to send literally anything at all to the moon? You are on crack if you think they are building a nuclear reactor on the moon in 6 years.

this is nonsense and not how science works - just because some theories in the past have been proven false doesn't mean that any theory can also be proven false (or broken).

Fees are a lot higher now than 20+ years ago.
Think it's £9k a year.
Throw on 3 years of accommodation and living expenses and that's easily £57k

Mini reactors: SMRs can take between 12 to 30 months to build, microreactors take even less time.
They can be build anywhere they have been used in military bases and remote areas. Gen IV reactors and TWR are being designed for even faster deployment. A..I are being used to build faster reactors.

And the millionaires leaving the country complain that they don't have anyone to fill the roles..

There's even a mini reactor in one of the US universities in the middle of a populated city. It's been there for years and the students use it.

We'll see. If it can even do some of what you laid out it will be extremely impressive.

They do have people to fill roles. They just don't want to pay them what they deserve or require, because said millionaires want to make sure they keep becoming wealthier and wealthier until they have more money than they know what to do with and can live excessively lavish lives, and in absurdly disproportionate luxury.

They want to continue the obscene and sick practice of being able to do things like spend £1000+ a night in a hotel or hundreds of pounds every night on dumbass bottles of champagne.
