AI Vector Help please

Hi

I have designed business card for a friend, I have done it in Adobe Illustrator.
I saved it in PDF format and they teh back of card design font has changed?? It shows on mine but not on theirs???
My friend decided to take it to a printers and it didnt work there either and the guy is asking for the Vectors??? Can someone fill me in on how i send this over to him??

The printer is asking if you can send the ".ai" file instead of a pdf. I think the problem is you are using a font which they don't have installed, maybe you could send that to them as well? Or go into illustrator and convert the text to vectors, that should do it.

Awesome thanks for your help, could not see how to convert text to vectors so just emailed the original .ai and the fonts

Just select the text in illustrator and then go to 'type' and then 'create outlines'. You now have vectors
