Aimbot warning BF2 related.

I recieved this warning by mail bit of bad news for BF2 heads. don't shoot the messenger.

Hey everyone, I am writing to inform you all of some very ... Disturbing news. It seems like everyones \"favorite\" hack website ( Haxxers site addy removed as they are scum) Has released a BF2 aimbot and the commander hack is back also. There is a way however to spot enemys using the aimbot. If you see a player get 3 or 4 kills in a row with a rifle/pistol, try and watch them very closely. If they are looking through walls and ammasing massive kills its most likely they are hacking. Remember, the only \"perfect\" anti cheat is having a admin present at all times. We all were ignorant for thinking that client hooks and aimbots would not touch BF2, when it has become as popular as it has. This was something that was destined to happen, so Please prepare yourself. There are movies of this aimbot out, so watch them and get familiar with them, so you know what to look for. Hmm... I think he's had access to a server or used stand alone to make that lot I doubt the same can happen on a regular server with PB. At least I hope not.

He's ruining the game for everyone either way though cos it just adds fuel to the kb warriors flaming and effects the odd over enthusiastic admins decisions when someone good gets on a server.

i play a lot and i have had somes doubts about how effective punkbuster is there are some players i have played against who seem to be very aware of my location and i sometimes feel that how could have they known i was going be there or i would make that change of direction.but i do not see how they enjoy the game but i still think it is great game

There have been a lot of cheats and hacks for Battlefield 2 since it was released, but luckily they're not widely used at all as far as I know.

There are aimbots, wallhacks, distant name tag cheats, distant ammo/medical pack tag cheats, nofloor/sky hacks, you name it. I wouldn't worry though, especially not about it ruining the game, because if you don't think you've ever come across these hacks before then chances are you never will.

PS. Cheaters are scum and should burn in gamer hell, forced to play Barbie And The Magic Of Pegasus for the rest of their days.

I received a couple of emails about hacks from BF2S.com, turns out they're not actually from BF2S.com, and the guy has been banned.

Plus I never trust these videos, the majority of the time it's just single player. Either by the names (X.Xxxxxx) or by the way the other players react.

This is NOT fake..i repeat this is NOT fake....

The email is fake/spoofed but its content is not. The mail was purely designed to draw people to that website.

Theres a lot of paranoyer lately in the BF2 world about aimbots, and frankly thats all it is. Aimbots do exist and CAN be played on ranked, online servers without Punkbuster detection (at the moment)

But stuff like this certainly doesnt help. An aimbot user in a tank is a dead giveaway, the turret would be spinning so wildly and accurately it would be in human. On foot, its very hard to tell whether someone is a very good shot or using an aimbot.

The thing to remember, which a lot of the nubbins we get on our server seem to forget, is that aimbots lock to the chest. They do not produce one shot kills, and most importantly do NOT account of weapon recoil.

Because they dont account for recoil keeping the shots on target is still up to the player once hes started firing, the aimbot only finds the nearest target and doesnt actually help u keep your shots on target.

Has anyone noticed that none of them seem to be able hit jack all even with their h4x, they are taking half a clip to drop someone even when they they have them enabled.

I have never and will never understand the fun of hacking, never done it personally and never will. It shows nothing but their inability to fight properly.

Even if an aimbot is used the offender can still miss due to lag/movement of the intended victim. A decent player will still pwn them.

The scum should be hunted down like Baron Von Frankenstein by villagers with torches and pitchforks.

Very true, I just don't see how people can get their enjoyment out of a game knowing they're cheating. What is the point?

Actually.. if it always locks on to the nearest player's chest, it wouldn't be that hard if they were mobbed.

Be honest I have been playing far too much over the last few months and have become increasingly suspicous about some play.

What a shame its a brilliant multiplayer game.

Scumbags, I mean what's the point? Really.. I take it admins will be banning cd keys, maybe they should pass them around to other servers and get them banned there as well. I played Enemy Territory for most of my spare time a few years ago, it was great until the influx of hackers, and then everybody accusing everyone else when they killed a few people legitimately. It ruined the game for me and I haven't played since.
