Air Combat Games

Looking for some decent games to play on along the lines of Lock On: Modern Combat. Not really sure what's worth playing. Any suggestions?

Yeah i aint ever played a air fighter game but hawx looks mint and easy to use with some damn nice gfx.

Yeah gona get HAWX on the xbox I'm thinking was looking for more realistic games for the PC to use witha joystick.

DCS:- Black Shark is from the Developers of Lock On. A bit more realistic than Lock ON.

Just the helicopter in this one, next DCS will be an A-10.

Are their any decent lookin ww2 fighter plane games with nice ground enviroments thats not uber realistic just easy to control like up down left right go stop and fire.

Battlefield 1942 is good for this. The Forgotten Hope adds a lot to the game too. Alternatively, IL2 or Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator.

Dont like bf1942 its got no story mode or anything.

MSCFS thats the really old one yeah? I tried it once dont think i remember liking it.

IL2, i duno if thats ww2 as thought it was modern but ill have a peek on google at it.
