I suppose he did say best ;)
I reckon 2 deltas on a Thermalright ultra 120 might do better. Earplugs required.

hahaha, cheers guys.. at least u made me laff.. erm, no deltas ta.. would mind it being a little noisy, but at least so it doesn't sound like a couple of jets taking off...

Was actually thinkg about the new titans... i liek *** spec of the titan amanda... but im thinking it aint gonna fit... and kinda defeats the point of buying a cheap cpu... the amanda is nearly 20 quid more than what i payed

Also would rather like it to be in stock, as i wanna clock clock clock this ikkle thing.. (dual3.6 on stock cooler and volts hehe.. could be a good'n)

Cheers once again

For my answer, please refer to my thread about the titan amanda. Furthermore, I use a Titan Vanessa for my CPU and I know the pros and cons about it. It's better to recommend a product that you know rather than just recommend a product you have never had experience with.

Hows that compare with the stock fan? Does that amber need quietening? Temp much better?

I'm asking as I have two of the little beggers still boxed up waiting to go into new rigs. (both awaiting mobo's)

Quieter than the stock fan which got upto 2500rpm and around 8c cooler but still a little too loud for my liking, unfortunately I cannot really 7v the fan as the temps would be a bit high.

8c :O Really?

Shame you couldn't rip the connector off the old fan and put it on the amber so that the mobo could run it at variable speed.
