Hello guys

I'm having a problem with my 03 Fiesta 1.4 16v. The airbag light is on and is flashing once, then twice, which means "Low battery voltage".

I've been reading about similar problems online and everyone says to check the wiring under the seat. The thing is, I have no wiring under the drivers seat, and there is only one under the passenger seat (no yellow ones for the airbag).

Is this normal on my car?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

First you should be sure you understand enough about SAB/SRS systems before you go poking around....
They are potential dangerous, you wouldn't want to set one off by mistake !!!.
Make sure the battery is discounted before touching anything if you continue.
ON NO ACCOUNT USE A VOLTAGE OR ANY TYPE OF METER ON THE CONNECTIONS.

I can't remember if SAB was 100% fit on the driver seat, look to the outer seam on the seat back does it have the little fabric Airbag label.
The connector block to the seat is towards the front, on a bracket off the side member.
Will be square block with several holes for the options that were available to plug in.
If it has an Airbag it will be there, along with any others.

Could the warning light be advising of the airbag in the steering wheel and not the seat ? or a Passenger AB in the dash?... Potentially several SAB dotted around the car.....
