Hi,
I am installing a h100i as per this picture:

Is it better to have the fans on the radiator pulling cold air through or exhausting, obviously having the fans on the opposite side inverted.

Cheers

Pulling cold air in will give more cooling to the water in the rad, which is what you're after really. If you only have one rear fan you will potentially have a positive pressure in the case, which some say reduces dust build up in the case.

Thanks, I have two rear fans. But theoretically it should be positive pressure as the front fans will be pulling more air. Probably not worth splitting hairs over

Thanks for the advice.

I imagine it's because if they have reference style exhaust fans they will of course add to your exhaust airflow, which you should take in to account on top of your rear fans + psu out.

They aren't reference unfortunately, but it should be fine as it's a big open space with lots of airflow and 970s run pretty damn cold. If not I'll be adding a fan to the side window.

its better to have the air coming into the system over the rad so you have nice cooled air going over the rad, but the side you fit the fans on make no difference
