Airplay To Numerous Devices At Once

Evening all,

So as the Title says, can you airplay to multiple devices at once?

Ive a couple airplay devices in the house, apple tv's, airport express etc.. And would be awesome if I could throw say a song from the pc, or even iphone, to all of them at once (Kind of Sonos like if you know what that is)

Dont care if its through legit or 3rd party software, just really want to be able to do it..

Anyone know a way?

Airfoil does it exactly what you want. I've got it and use it, very good piece of software.

Know of any that enables you to send from say an iphone to speakers directly?

AirPlay already does this, just select multiple speakers when sending it from the music app or iTunes.

As far as I'm aware, you cant do this on ios.

Itunes maybe.. but not ios.

Sorry my mistake.

Use the Apple Remote app to connect to your iTunes on the PC then you can control multiple speakers.

You're right it doesn't work with the Music app.

I know the Apple Remote App way works as I had it running on Sunday.

ATV2, ATV3 and iTunes on my iMac.

But that means having silly pc on to do it

That's why I'm building a server to store all my movies, tv shows and music on then I don't have to worry about the iMac being on
