No time for a camera man, it had to be head cam to get into and see the action...It's really weird, the angle that was taken from and the things people are shouting makes it seem like a FPS game.
I know what you meanYeah it's just really odd to view.
It depends where and how you play. The site that I go to you get Royal marines and it is very good fun. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions. Don't get me wrong, its a game for men acting like kids again but everyone enjoys themselves.I've never understood the whole airsoft thing. No offence to those who enjoy it. Last time I played "Japs and Commandos" was probably 1978.![]()
True that but no one takes it seriously apart from competitive paintball and even then you still run around like mad men. Fun if thats what you like. Nothing against it at all.Nothing stopping you from using tatic's in PB.
Totally agree, you cant knock it untill you try it. Its an activity that people enjoy at the weekend, slightly different from actually joining the army. Could say the same thing about paintball, they might aswell join the army cos they play with guns hahaSo you've never actually played it then? You can feel it quite well trust me. If it hits an unprotected part like the legs, arms or if you're not wearing a vest you're probably getting a bruise too.
Yeap, expensive it is. Once your into airsoft there is no letting go.Airsoft is awesome! It's en expensive hobby you want your own kit, but it's a lot more fun that paintballing. I go Airsoft regularly with my AK and Colt 45 pistol, GOOD TIMES! All I can say is give it a try.
The last video does not have any action in as this was a military simulation and the team went un detected.I've been paintballing about 5/6 times over the years( Edit - it's not really my thing). Never tried airsoft but from the videos linked so far (I've skipped through each of them so could have missed the action!) nothing seems to happen. The last one to be posted seemed like a walk in the woods with bags/stuff for no reason. Again, apologies if I skipped the action without realising.
Thank you for the recommendation. We have a CQB video coming soon for you guysIf you want non-stop action airsoft you need to be getting to CQB sites not woodland ones. I recommend the Academy in Leamington Spa, it really is like a real life game of counter strike.
The mortar we use is not for show. It can launch a grenade 10 times further than you can throw. also as for the sound I do agree, but it is something you get used to. if you want something that sounds a bit better you can get a gbb weapon (gas blow back)As cool as the tech is, I just can't get over how unsatisfying and unrealistic the sounds are.
"tick tick tick" Just does nothing for the experience, especially when you take into account the amount of money, time and effort airsofters put into getting all the right gear and trying to look the part.
Also, what is the point of that green bog rol... Sorry mortar? Is it just for show? You could lob a grenade that would cover the ranges it seems to be used for, surely?
